If you need to email reports or documents often the best way is to output the
report or document as a PDF (Portable Document Format) file and email it as an
attachment. You can't edit a PDF (unless you have the expensive Adobe program)
but sometimes all you need is to send a view-only document.
This is particularly useful for sending reports from a Clarion program for
example. If you save the report to disk the formatting will be dropped and
you'll have a messy looking text file. You can buy an expensive PDF creator or
you can download and install the free PDFCreator at ...
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=57796
Choose PDFCreator 0.7.1 which is the latest stable version. Save to your
computer and then double click the file to install.

Once you have installed PDFCreator, you will probably have to
restart your computer. Go ahead and do that and then choose a document of file
to convert to PDF. Then select Print from the Menu... you'll see the print
dialogue box like this...

Your default printer will normally be selected. To create a PDF
document from your file or report, change the Printer Name in the drop
down box...

Click on PDF Creator....

... and click Ok. Give your PDF Document a name... and then click
Save...

Select a location to save your PDF Document and click Save.

Your document or report will be saved as a PDF document and WILL LOOK
EXACTLY LIKE IS DOES ON YOUR SCREEN. That is, your Clarion reports can be
converted into PDFs and sent as an email attachment and when the recipient
opens the PDF it will look exactly as it does to you.
